just thought these were kinda cool. they are the work of montreal artist peter gibson aka "roadsworth." he started these things way back in 2001 and evaded authorities for about 3 years until he finally got caught stenciling a christmas ribbon on an intersection. he was faced with over $200,000 in city fines but got off super easy after the outcry of support from the public (only had to pay $250 and do 40 hours community service). i mean, come on, it's vandalism, but it's rad. check out a bunch of his stuff after the jump.
